Sergeant Mark Werts

Sgt. Werts has been with the department since 2015. His duties include patrol supervision, training coordinator, public information officer, field training officer, and evidence manager.

Patrol Officer Joseph Marcum

Joseph joined the Holyoke Police Department in February 2015. Joseph has an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement. Joseph graduated the Arapahoe Community College Law Enfoldment Academy in 2014. 

Joseph manages the Holyoke Police Department FaceBook page, is a SFST DUI instructor, and  is your Community Resource Officer.

The community resource officer helps local businesses and residents with any law enforcement needs. Joseph has helped businesses train their employees on issues such as: violence in the work place, safety and security, and best practices for businesses. Patrol Officer Mary Seeley

Mary joined the Holyoke Police Department in December 2016. She has an Associate's Degree and Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. She also graduated from the Pueblo Law Enforcement Academy in December of 2015.

Mary has previous experience as a correctional officer, and was a Deputy with the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.

Chaplin Dan Kafka

Dan earned a degree in biblical Studies from Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, TX. Dan volunteered full time with the Colorado Department of Corrections at the Sterling Correctional Facility. He left CDOC's full time position to work full time with the Holyoke Church of Christ.  He continues his volunteer status with CDOC. Dan hopes to bring his experience in CDOC to Holyoke Police Department by serving the people of Holyoke with respect, honoring the authority God has placed in law enforcement, giving all the glory to the One who gives meaning to life.
